Training

  • Ham Elmer - A very good site with excellent study guides and downloads for the Technician and General Class license.

  • TEARA Technician Study Guides PowerPoint files for downloading - Very good.
  • Outstanding CW Trainer program FREE - Koch's method of learning Morse is a simple, direct way of building reflexive responses to individual characters. This method does not allow you to build that lookup table in your brain. To copy at full speed, you must build the reflexes in order to achieve 90 percent accuracy. And that's what you're spending your time doing, building reflexes. How long will all this take? That will depend on the individual. Koch himself, with hand-picked students, got a group to master 12 wpm code in a mere 13.5 hours.
  • Ham University - Ham University is the premier Windows program for helping you
pass your FCC Exams. It contains all the questions for all three new FCC written exams. You can browse the questions, quiz yourself on your weak areas, or set yourself a mock exam. Ham University also provides you with three ways to learn Morse code. Free demo program download.

  • Radio Study Guides - A collection of 50 links for training and study guides for Amateur Radio and broadcast radio.  New 4/29/10
